Snareweight Fader F1
Drum Dampening
After a few years of working on it, Snareweight have introduced their new Fader F1 Series for both the bottom resonant drum heads AND top heads. They are used to control the sustain with a dial from 1-5 or "off" for none at all if needed. Gravity Proof!!
When used on a top batter head, how much dampening does the Fader F1 get?
Fader has the widest range of dampening - from less than the M1 to as much as the M80. There is a slider to dial in exactly how much dampening - also a thumb screw to change the pressure settings of the leather on the drum head effectively adding "weight" to the drum head by locking in the pressure.
For those drummers looking for precision dampening and or tighten up your toms and especially floor, getting rid of the warble of the bottom head, controlling the decay and punch, this one is for you. Especially good for recording or just plain control of the sustain without messing with the tone.
Use: By moving the slider button you can choose different amounts of head dampening all the way to an "off" position. Also, there is a nob to loosen or tighten tension of the leather damper that meets the drum head as well.
** For Use With Triple Flange Hoops Die Cast, and Angel Hoops**
