Get started with the Primero Box Cajon. The body is constructed from Asiatic Pine and the face plate is Rubberwood. Rubberwood comes from the Para rubber tree and is very environmentally friendly. Rubberwood is light-colored, medium-density tropical hardwood perfect for cajons. It produces a rich warm tone that is complimented by the crisp snare response. The Primero Box Cajon features two sets of fixed snare wires for Spanish Flamenco-style sound.
The Primero Box Cajon is finished in Gypsy Brown matte lacquer with a natural face plate. The front plate is designed for maximum bass and super-sensitive snare response.
